I appear at conventions as a cosplayer and a speaker, bringing characters to life on stage and leading conversations about craft, community, and the mental health of fandom. As a therapist and author, I am especially interested in what cosplay and play do for us: how they build confidence, create belonging, and give people permission to be someone new.
