This is the privacy policy for cosplaythyself.com and inspirationgranted.com, the apparel imprint of Cosplay Thyself, all operated by Matthew E. Morgan LLC (Ohio, USA). We take your privacy seriously and want to be plain about what we collect and what we do with it.

Who we are

Inspiration Granted is the apparel imprint of Cosplay Thyself, the small press founded by therapist and author Matthew E. Morgan, LPCC-S. Matthew E. Morgan LLC is the legal entity behind both brands. When this policy says "we" or "us," that is who it refers to.

What we collect

On the inspirationgranted.com landing page, we collect one piece of information directly from you: your email address, which you provide when you sign up for our launch notification list.

We also collect some information automatically through our website host, Wix. This includes standard server data such as your IP address, your browser type, the pages on our site that you visit, and the time and date of your visit. Our site also uses cookies that Wix places to keep the site functioning and to gather basic visitor analytics.

We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, payment information, or any sensitive personal data at this stage of the brand. When we eventually launch a storefront, we will update this policy to reflect any additional collection.

Why we collect it

Your email address is used for one specific purpose: notifying you when Inspiration Granted launches its first products, along with occasional brand updates related to that launch. We will not use your address for unrelated purposes, and we will not send you content from Cosplay Thyself or from the Matthew E. Morgan therapy practice unless you have separately signed up to receive those communications.

The automatic information collected through Wix is used to keep the site functional and to understand basic visitor patterns, such as how many people visit and which pages they look at. We do not use this data to build individual profiles or track you across other websites.

Who has access

Your email address is stored in Wix Contacts, the dashboard provided by our website host. The people and entities with access to that dashboard are Matthew E. Morgan as the brand owner, and Wix as our hosting provider acting as a data processor on our behalf and bound by its own privacy obligations.

We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your email address with third parties for their marketing purposes. If we ever change this practice in the future, we will notify subscribers in advance and give you a meaningful chance to opt out before the change takes effect.

Your rights

You have the right to see what information we have about you, to correct information that is wrong, to delete your email from our list (you can also do this yourself with the unsubscribe link in any email we send), to object to how we use your data, and to ask us to send you a copy of the information we have about you in a portable format.

Data retention

We keep your email address on our subscriber list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe, we will remove your address from our active marketing list within a reasonable time, though we may retain a minimal record of your unsubscribe request itself so we can honor your preference going forward and avoid accidentally re-adding you to the list.

Children

Inspiration Granted is intended for adult audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has signed up for our list, please contact us at the email address below and we will delete the information promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time as our practices evolve or as legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, notify existing subscribers by email. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
