Two of my short stories appeared in the annual anthology of a local fiction writers group - The Creative Minds Collective, aptly titled The Creative Minds Collection.
"Shattered World" is the backstory of ShadowLight, set at the beginning of time, and following two brothers who choose drastically different paths when given the chance to receive supernatural power. Firim fights to protect his people from the vengeful Lothfir. Their clash has cosmic consequences.
"Only Two Came Back" is the diary of a young woman whose brother, father, and husband leave on an all-day fishing trip. When a sudden storm erupts and strands the men, they must fight their way back to her through elements, injuries, and illness.
